Results

Now that it’s done, I’m very pleased with the results.

The search engine results are comprehensive, doesn’t include much that’s unnecessary, and very fast.

I’ve gotten positive feedback from mailing list subscribers.

Future

Somethings I would like to add to the search engine in the future…

• Super search that leverages Meilisearch’s facet functionality, so people can do a search and select the lists, years, months, and date range.
• Meilisearch has some AI integration capabilities, so I’d like to play around with that.
• Although it’s not really necessary, I’d like to play around with server replication.
• More fully automate the full rebuild of the search database, so it can be indexed, saved, and the database transferred to to the Lightsail server.
